JR controller
Since not everyone has a jacket or pants to connect to, the Junior Controller has a built-in “Y” harness which is designed for use with gloves or socks, individually.
** The Junior Controller may only to be used for 5 amps or less (gloves or socks).
**It has four power level indicators: 100 percent is red; 75 percent is amber; 50 percent is green, and 25 percent is blinking green
**Warning: Do not try to put more than one set of heated-clothing items on the same battery harness and controller.
2 YEAR WARRANTY
SAE Female
The SAE Female Plug can be used to connect to your bike's battery tender on one side, while the female coax on the other end connects to your Temperature Controller. This adapter wire is also used if you have an older style of heated clothing that has an SAE connection, and you need to connect to a newer version with a female coax end.
**Using this as your power source with your battery tender connection, you may need to confirm the fuse size on the battery tender cable is sufficient enough to run your gear.
**We do not recommend using your cable as a battery tender wire if you are increasing the fuse to use it for your heated gear.
**Battery harnesses are always recommended first for a power source.
** 8” length
**Max capacity 20 amps
SAE to Coax Male
The SAE Male Plug is generally used for converting most SAE heated clothing plugs to a Coax option.
**8” length
**Max capacity 20 amps
Splitter
The Splitter is typically used when you have a jacket liner and a set of gloves, but only a single temperature controller.
**To install the Splitter, use the two male plugs on your Jacket Liner on the Y end, and plug your temperature controller to the single end.
**Max capacity is 20 amps
**WARNING: A Splitter is not to be used to run 2 sets of heated clothing. Overheating, fire, or damage to your products could occur.
Y Harness
If you don’t have a jacket liner or pants to connect your gloves or socks, the Y Harness is used to make the connection to your controller.
**50” lead for your left side and a 58” lead for your right side
**Max capacity is 20 amps
18” Extension
The Extension Cable provides additional length for your coax connections.
**18” Length
**Max capacity is 20 amps
Battery Harness
The Battery Harness is used to power your heated gear. It connects to any 12V battery for use on motorcycles, ATV’s, snow mobiles, etc. The battery harness has an inline fuse holder on the positive (red) lead, with a 15 amp fuse included. With a 38” length, there’s ample enough wire for an easy install.
To calculate your true amp draw divide the amp draw on all items you are going to hook
up by 12 them multiply by your motorcycle volt output.
Gloves pull 2.4 amps
Socks pull 2.2 amps
Jacket pulls 6.4 amps
Pants pull 4.6 amps
Connect the red lead to the positive terminal on your battery and the black lead to the negative. Zip
tie the coax plug, leaving about 6” of slack, under your seat on the left side. You may also plug the
battery harness into a panel mount port (sold separately).
**38” length
**15 amp & 20 amp fuse included
**Max capacity 20 amps
90 Degree Coil Cord 3'
When the battery harness plug is just a little too far away and you need a little extra wire, the coil cord gives you the extra you need. The expansion of up to 3 feet helps reach that back seat passenger or give you a little more freedom of movement.
**3 feet (36”) extended length
**Max capacity 20 amps
BMW / Accessory Plug
The Accessory plug is a two-way plug that can be used instead of the battery harness to power your heated clothing. With the red cap on, use your 12-volt accessory port for motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats or cars. Take the red cap off and it becomes a DIN plug that works on your BMW or Triumph accessory port (also known as Powerlet accessory plug).
**32” length
**For use with 12v accessory ports
**Max capacity 20 amps
Panel Mount Port
The Panel Mount Port installed on your motorcycle gives a cleaner look, so you don’t see battery harness wires. Installed on your dashboard or an available panel, it connects to the battery harness on the backside, leaving the once exposed battery harness now behind the scenes and out of the way. A waterproof cap is included when the port is not in use.
Length 8”
Max capacity 20 amps
Drilling required
Existing battery harness required (also sold separately)
7V Y Harness
For use with 7V gloves or socks, the Y Harness is used to make the connection to your 7V batteries. The harness comes standard with the 7V socks. As an alternate to having the batteries in the gauntlet of your gloves, you can use the Y Harness and put your battery in your pocket.
**60” lead for both the right and the left
