Powered by a crash detection algorithm developed using millions of kilometers of real-world riding data and thousands of crash scenarios, the Stella Tech-Air(R) system accurately identifies dangerous situations such as lowside and highside crashes. When a crash is detected, the airbag deploys in as little as 50 milliseconds, inflating ahead of impact to help reduce injury during the initial collision. A water-resistant main chassis with waterproof electronics supports everyday use in changing conditions, while a perforated back zone with internal air channels improves breathability and comfort. Bluetooth connectivity via the Tech-Air(R) app provides system status, battery level, and ride data, with firmware updates available to keep the vest current.
